Bushwick Arts – BETA Spaces 08

November 6, 2008 by

We’re excited to be a part of the Bushwick Arts BETASpaces 08 this Sunday, November 9 from 11am-7pm. The all-day event spans over 20 spaces opening their doors for live performances, film/video screenings, visual art in galleries, and public art events. We are happy to be participating and have created a site-specific, interactive installation/live performance for the LAByrinth space. The installation is titled “The Biting Fairies”.

We are working with artist Matthew de Leon who is designing our costumes and set. The site-specific performance will feature a costumed interaction and integration into the architecture of the stairwell, and we will be performing in 40-minute increments all day long.

We will also be screening three films at the “Rich & Free” event. Between 11am-2pm, and 3pm-6pm, with an artist/audience discussion at 2pm.

Seyhan will also be screening a video piece at the “FOOD: the vital stuff” exhibition that will be showing all day.
